In 1999, in the vibrant city of Chicago, after completing her training , Oorjita Lath embarked on her distinguished career, as a Financial Lines Underwriter. Today, she boasts over 26 years of extensive experience as a General Insurance Expert with partnerships with some of the world’s foremost companies.
She was in the US for 4 years, and on return in 2010, joined Aditya Birla Capital to start the Specialty Vertical for the company. She was also managing the Global Network portfolio. Venturing across continents, Oorjita has held pivotal roles at ERC (Chicago), Tata AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd., Aon India, Aditya Birla Insurance Broking, Kotak Life, and the leagues of them. Ascending to roles such as VP & National Head for Liability & Credit Vertical showcases her leadership skills. Her international exposure, strategic thinking, and client-centric solutions set her apart as a trailblazer in the insurance industry.

With over 39 years of experience across public sector insurers, private non-life insurers, brokers, and consulting, Mr. Sanyal is a highly regarded insurance and risk management expert with deep expertise in underwriting, claims, and risk advisory.His experience spans major corporations across Liability & Financial Lines, Cyber Liability, Business Interruption, and Risk Management.
A passionate educator, he has been actively involved in insurance training and professional development for more than 25 years. Between 2000 and 2018, he was associated with the Birla Institute of Management Technology as Visiting Faculty and Advisory Council Member.
His international training engagements have taken him across the globe where he has conducted advanced programmes on Property Insurance, Business Interruption, Cyber Liability, Construction Risks, and Commercial General Liability (CGL).
Since 2013, he has co-led over 100 advanced workshops for insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, actuaries, and corporate risk professionals. These programmes have been delivered for organisations including HDFC ERGO General Insurance, Reliance General Insurance, and SBI General Insurance.
He has authored numerous articles and publications on insurance and risk management and holds the prestigious Fellowship of the Insurance Institute of India.
