She spent four years in the United States before returning to India in 2010 to join Aditya Birla Capital, where she established the company’s Specialty Vertical while also managing its Global Network portfolio. Over the years, she has held key leadership positions with ERC (Chicago), Tata AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd., Aon India, Aditya Birla Insurance Broking, Kotak Life, and other leading institutions, rising to roles such as Vice President and National Head, Liability & Credit.
A recognized industry leader, Oorjita has been invited as a Keynote Speaker at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Insurance Applications, reflecting her thought leadership at the intersection of insurance and emerging technologies. She is also an alumna of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad), having graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Program.

Sagar Sanyal
Director
Over the course of his career, he has worked extensively with leading corporates across oil & gas, renewable energy, power, retail, hospitality, garments, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. During his tenure with a public sector insurer, he managed complex underwriting and claims for large-scale industrial risks, including Indian Oil Corporation’s refineries, LPG bottling plants, oil terminals, and interstate pipeline networks, covering both operational and construction-phase exposures.
He later spent over a decade with a leading private general insurer, heading underwriting operations across two regions. In this role, he was responsible for both profitability and portfolio growth across Property, Construction & Engineering, Marine Cargo, and Liability lines with exposure to a broad range of industrial sectors.
A qualified risk professional, he has conducted more than 500 risk inspections throughout his career, providing deep insight into industrial risk assessment and mitigation.
Since 2011, he has been serving as a technical consultant, advising on complex underwriting and risk management assignments across power, renewable energy, infrastructure, automotive components, manufacturing, and other industrial sectors.
